Canyon Mirage is a playful family home, steeped in art, color, and unexpected details. The homeowners’ passion for art became an integral part of the design, blending the interiors with an eclectic, evolving collection to create a home filled with warmth and fantasy. The design ethos draws from the exuberance of late 1960s Italian modernism — curvilinear forms, psychedelic hues, and an unpretentious spirit —  reimagined in the present day. Color-drenched rooms give way to crisp, gallery-like passages, allowing the house to move between enveloping color and restraint. Color and visual interest are tempered by soft forms, blown glass lighting, modern fixtures, and metallic accents. Every object brings another layer of personality to the rooms, creating a home filled with joyful experimentation that moves between sophistication and whimsy.
